We formulate trend actives to stay stable in the bottle and compliant in your destination market, and we keep cosmetic claims on the right side of the line so the copy your brand launches on is the copy you can keep.

Is Hong Shin a Korean manufacturer?

Hong Shin manufactures in South Korea and Taiwan and is Canadian-owned. You get genuine Korean formulation and manufacturing, with a Western team handling your brief and your compliance.

What is the minimum order?

Retail formats start from 1,500 units per SKU on our Taiwan lines and 3,000 units per SKU on our South Korea lines. Bulk semi-finished formula starts from 50 kg. Sachet sampling is available for a lower-commitment test.

Why is the South Korea minimum higher than Taiwan?

The two origins run different production setups. Our Taiwan lines are built for smaller retail runs, so they start at 1,500 units. Our South Korea lines carry higher setup requirements and start at 3,000 units. Most first-time brands start in Taiwan and move volume to Korea once a formula is proven.

Can I get K-beauty actives like PDRN in my private label line?

Yes. We formulate PDRN, peptides, niacinamide, bakuchiol, centella, ceramides, and exosome, made to your brand spec and compliant for your market. These actives run on both our Taiwan and South Korea lines, so you can start a PDRN line from 1,500 units.

Can you handle compliance for my home market?

Yes. We support Health Canada NPN, US FDA and MoCRA, EU CPNP, and UK SCPN, so a Korean-made formula can be sold compliantly in the West. Note that the FDA registers facilities and product listings, it does not approve cosmetics.

What certifications do you hold?

ISO 22716, the international good manufacturing practice standard for cosmetics, and ISO 9001 for quality management. We issue a certificate of analysis with every batch. Hong Shin has been operating since 2012 and ships to 16 countries.
