Ceramides

Skin-identical barrier lipids, formulated as a multi-ceramide complex and matched to your texture and claim.

Origin

Lipids naturally found in the skin barrier. We formulate with skin-identical ceramides NP, AP, and EOP as multi-ceramide complexes, often with cholesterol and fatty acids in the barrier ratio.

Benefits

Barrier repair, moisture retention, and comfort for dry, sensitive, or post-treatment skin.

Recommended use in

Barrier and nourishing creams, toners and mists, essence lotions, sheet masks, and body lotions.

Paired with

Hyaluronic acid, panthenol, squalane and shea butter, centella, and PDRN. Ceramides also buffer stronger actives such as retinoids and exfoliating acids.

Commonly asked questions

Ceramide manufacturing, answered

The questions brands and formulators search most, answered straight.

Can ceramides be combined with retinol, acids, or PDRN?

Yes. Ceramides are among the most compatible actives we work with and are often added to buffer retinoids and exfoliating acids. They pair naturally with PDRN, hyaluronic acid, and panthenol in barrier-repair briefs.

Which ceramides do you formulate with?

Skin-identical ceramides NP, AP, and EOP (ceramide 3, 6 II, and 1), usually as a multi-ceramide complex. We set the level and the complex to your texture, from light toners and mists to rich nourishing creams.

Do ceramide formulas have texture or stability concerns?

Ceramides are waxy lipids that need the right emulsifier system to stay clear in toners and stable in creams. We handle that in formulation, then confirm it through stability and PET testing.

What is the minimum order for a private label ceramide cream?

From 1,500 units per SKU made in Taiwan, 3,000 units per SKU made in Korea, with a 10 to 12 week lead time.
